Isabel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. From helping us organize everything ahead of time, to having delicious bakery bread waiting for us upon our arrival, to ensuring her chef and waiter were meeting all our needs. The villa itself is spectacular: the climatized, salt water pool and jacuzzi are best enjoyed at night with the moon hanging low in the sky and the stars high above; the various living and dining spaces allow for varied meals and hang out spots; the gorgeous master bedroom and bathroom make one feel as though they are in a boutique hotel; and the quiet, natural surroundings allow for a truly peaceful, rejuvenating experience. Almendros 11 is our home away from home in Casa de Campo!

Absolutely Fantastic

We have vacationed at Los Almendros 11 for many years.  For us, there is no better place in the world.  Every room in the villa is beautifully and comfortably furnished.  Each of the 4 bedrooms is spacious, and each has its own full bathroom.  Up to four couples or a large family will find plenty of room here, with ample areas to gather or to relax alone.  The pool area is large, with beautiful plantings, exotic flowers  and many separate seating areas to enjoy the sun or shade.  The many different flowers are a treat for the eyes and the large jacuzzi is a wonderful way to end the day.  The owners have done a perfect job of providing a welcoming home away from home.  

 

The house is also located very close to all the world class amenities of Casa De Campo – golf, tennis, the beach, horseback riding, shooting, dining, and Altos de Chavon.  The Marina, with many beautiful shops, restaurants, and a full-service grocery, is only minutes from the villa.  And it is also just a very short trip to the nearby town of La Romana, where we have found excellent restaurants and shopping.

 

No review would be complete without mentioning the exceptional people who work in the villa.  Iro prepares mouth-watering meals and is happy to share her recipes, which are so good we’ve enjoyed them at home!  And finally, the villa owners are always ready to answer questions and special requests.  They always go above and beyond to make sure your vacation is extraordinary.  In short, you will become very spoiled at Almendros 11!

 

Bottom line – you will not find a better place to vacation than Almendros 11.  And this is why we return year after year!

Paradise!

This is a beautiful villa in Casa de Campo in which the owner has paid attention to detail. It feels like a five star resort. It looks just like the pictures. It is beautifully decorated and above all else the staff is the best in all of Casa de Campo. Francisco and Iro are PHENOMENAL! Franscisco is the best butler and bartender I have ever had and Iro is an EXCELLENT chef. Her list of meals is very extensive and they taste great! We went out to eat once and regretted it because her food taste better. The house is perfect for a family with small children because of the trampoline and play set in the back. My children played from sun up to bedtime because they even played in the dark. The beach, marina and grocery store are not far away in the golf cart. The owner is not far away if you need something. This is definitely paradise. We will return!

Excellent Experience!

Beautiful, spacious house. Had different ambiences so every guest could find a spot to read and/or relax individually. The house service was excellent, you felt like in a hotel, and meals were served inside or outside on the patio. Very much recommend it.

Perfect Week

"This was our first stay at Isabel's lovely home.  The house is extremely warm and inviting, and is in the perfect location, with easy access to the beach, marina, and Altos de Chavón. Isabel was so helpful with all of our arrangements, including stocking the fridge with food we had ordered, and leaving extra special treats for our sons for Easter. The house staff--Danny and Iro--greeted us as soon as we arrived. They helped us get settled, and we were able to relax right away.  Danny and Iro were so incredibly kind to us, and made our week very special.  Every meal was perfect, the house was beautiful, and Danny helped us with all of our activity reservations. The hardest part was leaving! We hope to be back very soon! Thank you again, Isabel!"

"This was my second rental of 11 Los Almendros. The back porch is covered allowing those that prefer shade to sit on one side and sun lover to sit on the other side of the pool. The house is well stocked with all amenities. The Butler is excellent and speaks English very well. He met us upon arrival with ice tea in hand and waited on us literally "hand and foot" for the entire week. The cook, loved by all, prepared all of our meals except Valentines day and the day we arrived. Her talents are great and Ironelys even gave us a Flan cooking lesson. What a treat! We are already planning next years trip."
